Not every product uses every service described below — sections marked "where applicable" only apply to the specific website or app(s) that actually include that feature. None of our products require you to create an account to use their core features — on this website, for example, you can take quizzes as a guest. We do not collect, read, or store the content you type, write, or create in our products unless a product explicitly offers a cloud sync, backup, account, or multiplayer feature (see "Accounts & Cloud Storage" below). We do not sell your personal data to anyone.
This website uses your browser's local storage to remember preferences like language, theme, and sound settings, and to keep track of a guest profile if you haven't signed in. This stays on your device and isn't sent to us unless you create an account.
Our mobile apps may show ads through Google AdMob. This website does not currently show ads, but we plan to add advertising in the future — we haven't finalized which ad network(s) we'll use yet, and we'll update this section with specifics once we do.
Wherever ads are shown — in an app or on this website — the ad network(s) and their partners may collect device and advertising identifiers, general device/browser information, and approximate location, in order to serve and measure ads. Where an app offers a paid upgrade (such as removing ads) or a subscription, purchases are processed by Google Play Billing and managed through RevenueCat. We never see or store your payment card details — those stay with Google. RevenueCat receives your purchase/subscription status and an anonymous purchase token so we can confirm entitlements (like whether ads should stay off) across sessions and devices. See RevenueCat's privacy policy for how they handle that data.
This website, and some of our apps, offer an optional account with cloud sync, saved progress, or live multiplayer. Depending on the product, this is built on one of two platforms:
However you sign in, it's typically with an email address or through a third-party provider — on this website, that's Google or Discord. If you use one of those providers, we receive the basic profile information it shares with us — typically your name, email address, and profile picture — which is used to create and manage your account; signing in that way is also subject to that provider's own privacy policy. We also store the content you choose to save through an account feature, such as quiz progress, scores, or multiplayer activity. Products that don't offer this kind of feature keep everything only on your device.
We keep the data described above only for as long as needed to provide the feature it supports — for example, purchase records for as long as your entitlement is active, or account data for as long as your account exists. You can request access to or deletion of any account data by contacting us below.
Our products are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we'll remove it.
